With a REST API over HTTPS and optional environmental sensing via EMP Gen 2, it helps industrial and data-center teams integrate power protection into SCADA/BMS/DCIM workflows and reduce downtime risk.

Eaton Gigabit Industrial Gateway Card (INDGW-M2) 

  • What it is: A gigabit industrial UPS communication gateway card for monitoring, alarming, and automated actions during power/environment events.

  • Cybersecurity: Designed to meet UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 cybersecurity standards, with features such as stronger encryption, configurable password policy, and X.509 PKI support.

  • Industrial IT/OT integration: Supports common IT and industrial protocols including HTTPS/TLS 1.2, SNMP v1/v3, SSH, MQTTS, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, BACnet IP, and BACnet BBMD.
