Vertiv PowerUPS 9000

Vertiv PowerUPS 9000 is a large, modular three-phase, transformer-free online UPS designed for high-power, mission-critical data centers (including AI/HPC), combining high efficiency, resilience, and serviceability.

• Capacity & scalability: Modular architecture from 250 kW up to 1.25 MW in a single frame, and up to 5 MW with parallel configuration.

• Modular building blocks: Uses 125 kW power modules (each module includes rectifier, inverter, and charger/booster) for flexible growth and redundancy.

• High efficiency: Up to 97.5% in double-conversion mode; up to 99% in Dynamic Online (high-efficiency with VFI support) and Intelligent ECO modes (conditions apply).

• Modern power conversion: IGBT three-level topology with advanced digital control; optimized for high-density IT loads and fast dynamic power demand.

• Load compatibility: Output power factor up to 1 and no derating across a wide leading/lagging PF range (within specified limits).

• Excellent input performance: High input power factor and low input current distortion (THDi ≤3% at full linear load under stated conditions).

• High availability by design: Dedicated controls per module, self-isolating modules, continuous-duty static bypass, and hot service/hot swap capability for bypass and power modules to reduce downtime during maintenance/upgrades.

• Advanced diagnostics & UI: Color multi-language touch screen, role-based access levels, event logs, measurements pages, and waveform capture for power-quality event analysis and troubleshooting.

• Battery flexibility: Ready to integrate different backup energy sources, including VRLA, lithium-ion, and nickel-zinc (system dependent).

• Deployment options: Suitable for room-based installs and skid-mount / containerized power solutions for faster deployment.
